I am a student of law...Not a law student, mind you but someone who has spent years upon years reading law briefs, zooming court cases and engaging in reflective, forensic discussions on Judges, DA's, AAG's, defense Attorneys... I've been doing this for close to a decade now. I recently ran across a case, where Ms. Barkovic was hired to defend one of the most ridiculously contemptuous clients I've ever witnessed appear before a Judge. We've all seen Sov Citizens, that believe no law applies to them, or that person that always screams "I know my rights!" but forgets the "right to remain silent" and sinks their own case. But this guy's rude, racist remarks and refusal to understand if he kept talking he was going to be held in DIRECT contempt tops my "DOY" (Dummy of the Year) list. Instead of realising the peril, the defendant then called the Judge uneducated...This is what Camilla Barkovic was handed. Ms. Barkovic was brilliant! I have never seen a defense attorney with such impeccable balance between advocating for a client and maintaining a respect for a Judge in His Courtroom. Her arguments were compelling, direct, even hard-nosed, as she fought for her client but, she did it with such a respect for the Court that the Judge who had no intention of letting client off of the contempt charge, reduced the sentence to 2 days and even made it CLEAR, on the record, it was all because of her brilliance. She left me speechless! Which, as you see, is hard to do, which is why I HAD TO write a review. If I EVER need a lawyer, I know who I will be looking to retain. Brilliant Woman! btw...did I mention she was brilliant?! :D

I wish there were 10 stars to give Camilla and Chelsea with Barkovic Law. They are phenomenal. I've never dealt with an attorney who genuinely cares about my well being, listens to what I have to say and defends like Camilla. I would recommend her 1000x over.

If I could leave 0 stars I would!!! You have to call 50 times to get in touch with anyone and when you finally do it's the assistant NEVER the attorney. She gave us an amount to pay and when we called to pay it she increased it every time until it was literally a week before the court date. POOR COMMUNICATION, poor management and UNRELIABLE to say the least!! Do NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY with this firm.
