Wertz Orthopedic Physical Therapy

We have been so thankful for the Wertz team helping my son strengthen his elbow after an injury. Highly recommend Wertz Physical Therapy for anyone recovering from a surgery or injury.

I continue to be very happy with Nathan and Michael. They have been my physical therapists for years - for several conditions. They both listen carefully and (as part of an initial evaluation) clearly explain what they find and believe - and then propose a treatment plan. They use a computer to visually display various ligaments, tendons, muscles, and bones that are related the condition - which helps to understand the therapy steps they take - as well as 'at home' therapy that I can complete.

Nate is by far THE BEST physical therapist I have worked with - and I have worked with many over the last ten years. He is genuinely caring and takes the time to really get to know you and get the root of what is causing you pain. I drive over an hour to see him because he is just that good. I strongly feel that he is the best orthopedic PT in MI, and I do not say that lightly. I am an occupational therapist myself, so I know good therapy from bad therapy. Go see Nate. He will help you.

I have had surgeries that have caused my ribs to be deformed on one side and protrude on the other side. I am in constant pain. Nate and Michael are the only physical therapists to help me. I have been going to Nate on and off since August 2016. Both Nate and Michael helped me last summer and fall. They were able reduce my pain. They are the only physical therapists I trust.

After a disappointing experience with another physical therapy practice, I was fortunate to find Wertz Orthopedic Physical Therapy. What a difference in care! My experience at the other practice could be compared to going to McDonalds and similarly going to Wertz has been like going to Lucky's Steak House!! Total difference. Nate spends half of the session doing hands on massage and I do not have to listen to the inner office gossip about the previous patients (which is a hipaa violation!). I often come to my session with questions and doubts and Nate is very good at answering my questions, drawing diagrams to explain things, and good at offering me reassurance in regards to my post surgery outcome. I cannot say enough good about my experience! I appreciate the way Nate and his staff are so personable, also. I highly recommend Wertz for your PT needs.
