Houghtaling Wasiura

This guy Chris Hougtaling has done an extraordinary job thus far with my brother in a child custody case thats spans over multiple counties. He's been successful with every motion and answer he's filed and goes the extra mile driving with my brother to in-person hearings that are over 50 miles away. I also believe it's worth noting that his office manager Deb has been second to none with keeping my brother informed and also with handling his ex's psycho mother who calls to verbally abuse whoever doesn't agree with her. Thankfully I haven't needed an attorney myself, but Chris will definitely be my first call if a time comes that I do.

Chris was an Exceptional attorney. He Really cares about you and your outcome. Very smart experienced and understands the corrupt system and how to navigate through hurdles and obstacles. Thank you Chris and his administrative assistant Jami. Bravo!!!

Horrible basically the same thing that everyone is saying. Waste of money and hurt my case. Never respond to anything I just lost money dealing with Chris

one star is 1 too many for Chris. He was asked repeateitly to file various motions from ex parte for my children, timely appeals of FOC orders which he completely dropped the ball on! Also multiple violations of stipulations and never filled anything as requested. Sloppy as all hell; likely to have his expired law bar license on all documents as well as never change his forms from Muskegon County to Ottawa despsite your repeated reminders that he's working in ottawa not muskegon! Ineffective council is an understatement for Chris; there's a reason he had to have someone forge signatures to still loose his attempt at a judge seat. Would only reccomend to an enemy that I wanted to feel completly unprepared and unrepresented throughout EVERY step of their journey together. HOLY DUCK READ THE NEXT 5 REVIEW; APPARENTLY HE NEVER FILES REQUETED MOTIONS OR MEETS APPEAL DEADLINES FOR ANYONE ELSE EITHER! STAY AWAY FROM THIS OLD HAGUE

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE Attorney and His Paralegal Jamie is Horrible absolutely the Worst Very POOR Customer Service people Skills. I've Witnessed His Paralegal have a Screaming Match in the office with one of their Clients Jamie is VERY NASTY To his Clients. The overall Quality is Poor the Attorney Ed will Literally DRAG OUT His Cases for Several Months and While doing So he Will Ignore your calls and only get back to you to Continue to Lie to buy more time. An ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE Dealing with this Attorney.
