So far Mr. Hintz sounds respectful. As for his assistant...very rude. Hope she has a better day. I'll be praying for her.

They're extremely corrupt. They offered us payment arrangements to pay for my wife's classes. We filed out the paperwork that we were told to fill out and send in. They STILL took her to court and gave her a "failure to appear". This was her last semester to get her bachelor's degree. She paid her entire way through school with cash up until this point. This is AFTER the school wouldn't accept anything less than 1/3rd of what was owed as a down payment. They wanted us to pay $1,700 up front, then $440 a month. My wife's in Healthcare and was told it would be covered. So she didn't get a loan. It ended up not being covered. She was left with 2 options. Pay $1,200 to withdraw from classes as a penalty, or attend the classes, buy the $600 books, and work out a payment arrangement with davenport at the end. So, there's no sense paying $1,200 for nothing. If I had to sell my truck to pay her bill in the end, I would've. Davenport wouldn't work with her. AT ALL. Then we finally got ahold of someone who said they would accept a $200 monthly payment, and once it was paid off, she could get her degree. We were supposed to make our first payment next Friday. She gets a letter in the mail on Wednesday saying it was sent to a 3rd party collections agency. So we called them and tried to explain to them what happened. The lady "mary" didn't care and demanded she pay half the balance, which included an ADDITIONAL $2,200 in fees before she would accept $600 a month. That wasn't possible so we asked to speak to a supervisor. We were told that they would call us back with options. We waited a week. We called. We were told that conversation never happened. We spent the next 9 months BEGGING these people to let us pay what we could afford. They either hung up on us or told us they'd call us back. Then she gets a summons served to her that said she needed to call within 21 days. She called that day. Was told they would accept payments and to fill out this paperwork and send it back. She filled out the paperwork and sent it in 3 days later. We've called several times since. They don't answer the phone nor do they return our calls. She just got a "failure to appear" in the mail yesterday. We've been calling since yesterday and just keep getting the same voice-mail we've been getting. They trap people into paying debts they don't even owe by filing court preceding against them and refusing contact. Your only option is to hire your own lawyer that nobody can afford to fight them. They are scamming people legally and it needs to be stopped.
Highly unorganized and corrupt. Has been observed to present false and misleading evidence in court. Pretends to have the best interest of plaintiffs at heart when a representative for big business, but in reality is searching for every loophole (including "forgivable" late filings or poor organization) to drag down the common man or woman.
Assistants or phone operators are very rude, very unprofessional and short.
