Thomas Becker was recommended to me by LegalShield after an accident where I hit a car that was illegally parked on the highway. Several other friends including another lawyer told me that the entire situation sounded suspicious. Thomas Becker recommended that I plea down even though the other vehicle was turned off on the pavement of the highway. And I was positive that they wouldn't show up in court specifically because They did not want to provide any information to me. Mr Becker advised me that this was a no win situation and not even to try. The person in that vehicle decided to sue me for medical expenses. I believe that they fought to get everything that they could out of my insurance company and not because they needed it.I believe that this additional expense Is a large part of the reason why I cannot afford to drive anymore. My insurance has effectively increased from a couple hundred dollars a month for full coverage (A little expensive in Michigan but not incredibly so) to almost a thousand per month. Thomas Becker does not care about you. He only cares about his own bottom line. Or perhaps he was paid off. All I know is that I wouldn't recommend him to anybody.

My daughter was referred to Tom Becker based on a referral from another lawyer. He explained the process in easy terms over the phone and at the first and only appointment we brought the delinquent account documents he had asked for. The appointment took about a half hour and Tom during that time filled out the required paperwork for filing chapter 7.
