Poor communication,extremely slow. still waiting on settlement money, they got their money still haven't received mine yet. They won't front you the money, consistently forget any updated info you give them. I just want this done and over with its been more than 2 years. Nothing but stress, never feeling at ease or secure with them. I Have never recieved updates from them I am always the one that has to call and figure out what's going on. My case seemed to not be a priority to them, even though I'm struggling with several bouts of homelessness and financial struggle. Them Telling me I must need it now over and over when my hands are empty is just a slap in the face. Really upset with all of this you practically have to camp outside for them to acknowledge your case so to speak or consistently badger them.

I was injured when a stair broke at my apartment complex. I fell through the stair space and was injured (concussion, bruising, bed rest etc). Sent all my records to Benefiel as he requested. He never followed up or followed through with requesting medical forms. He would say he'd call back to check up on XYZ and never would. Every time I called, he acted like it was the first time we spoke and blamed his incompetence with technology during the COVID pandemic.

Just a few years ago I survived a DV attack, a medical malpractice where the ER sent me home too soon just for me to return the next day with a confirmed diagnosis after they failed to test or perform any imaging while having a pulmonary embolism they MISSED, developed a autoimmune disorder in the form of psoriatic arthritis, chronic pain stemming from the psoriasis & years of stressful traumatic events, have ongoing treatment for severe debilitating anxiety, manic depression & PTSD & I qualify for ssi benefits & was calling around for further info/rates from local offices. If you are dealing with any medical or health situation & need help locating a attorney to rep you or just for even simple questions I DO NOT recommend mr benefiel. I called & he answered (they must not have a receptionist or front desk assistant who handles calls) & the experience I had on the phone was the WORST. I felt so judged & degraded for having health situations that were out of my control. He had a very condescending attitude & just demeaning in general. I suggest to take your claims elsewhere & this office should probably remove from their list of services they help with SSI/SSDI claims because they we're ver.y rude. Also he was talking to someone else while I was trying to explain my situation while still on the phone. Not professional at all. Just another pick & choose business that only helps people they know well & judges outsiders for genuinely needing/seeking help after having their life turned upside down & have been needing basic supports after surviving listed health/life events. It was obvious he didn't want anything to do with me or my case & he could've just said that instead of DEMEANING me on the phone. I'm very understanding that a lawyers job isn't the easiest however I would expect a level of professionalism & a polite attitude when asking questions for a possible new client. The attitude this man had with me was outrageous. Best of luck to your business in the future.

I would give a zero if I could. Didn't even try to understand. Overtalked me and treated me like I was stupid. I did my research BEFORE calling. The fact that he was ADAMENT in knowing the Dr's name is a HUGE Red flag! Don't bother with this joke of a firm UPDATE should have read the reviews before I called! WOW

This lawyer talked over me while I was talking, was rude, and I definitely don't recommend him...the whole call with him was horrible
