Highly recommend all potential clients to read this review before proceeding to work with this firm: I suggest no one contact attorney John Hocking or this law firm as a whole regarding any matter. He does not uphold the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct and is extremely rude. He has been unhelpful during a divorce case and insisted the client deliver the motion by hand to the opposing party. He also requested the client to deliver a release of Lis Pendens to the agency by hand. This attorney will not do any work for you. In addition, a new attorney was appointed for the client who has stated Mr. Hocking is very unprofessional and disgustingly rude. If you do work with this attorney, please keep all communication through email so there is a paper trail that you can submit to the Attorney Grievance Commission to report this attorney to the State Bar of Michigan for misconduct. This goes for any attorney you work with as a general reminder. Do not engage with this attorney over the phone as he can say anything and there will be no proof. Keep all evidence of the communication with this attorney. Very unprofessional and uneducated attorney. It takes a very short amount of time to briefly read the MRPC that the attorneys are expected to uphold. His license is P29950. I am in disbelief he works for this firm who has "good reviews". Affordable law firms do not always mean it will be of quality service. You get what you pay for.
