In the midst of a hard conversation happening in court she comforted and showed our daughter true empathy. She was quick to speak up and came fully prepared with plan a, b, and c when dealing with situations in the court room. So if you are looking for a highly qualified attorney, Jodi Hemingway is perfect for you!

I feel like I wasted 8,500. She is always either in court, busy, in the hospital or something is going on with her. She doesn't return texts, emails, phone calls, she hasn't even shown up for my son's last few court dates and either has them rescheduled or has someone who absolutely does the opposite of defend, appear in her place. They don't ask questions, say no to cross examinations and just agree with whatever the court says. I should have read the reviews before paying her. Don't waste your money, per my experience you will get a lawyer in name only who refuses to refund you when you request it. She told me I'm not entitled to a refund because I didn't like the results. I told her I was, because I'm not requesting a refund because of the results, I'm requesting it because she failed to provide the services I hired her for, she hasn't shown up for the last few court hearings, won't meet with us, barely answers back, etc..... In my experience, don't waste the resources you have on someone who won't have you, find someone who actually does their job.

So she dose good so far so good everything she has said happened I thank her for the advise and the options she gave me. We got few more court dates but so far so good I recommend her solid 10 if I could thanks Jodi.

I wanted to share my experience with Jodi as my divorce attorney. I was completely blindsided after over 25 years of marriage when my husband left. I contacted Jodi immediately and she stated "I got you". I was a mess during this time and Jodi navigated me through this with so much care and respect that I never worried about a thing. I hired Jodi Hemingway to handle my custody case and drivers license restoration and boy, was that a bad idea. Beautiful communication (sold me the world) until shortly after she got my money. $3500 for the custody case and $800 towards my drivers license. She became literally missing in action. Numerous phones calls not returned, numerous court dates that were postponed last minute due to ONLY HER. Paid her on Oct of 23 and our 1st court date was early December inwhich my ex and I already had an agreement with only a couple things to hash out. Then, 2 more postponed court dates due to Jodi followed. It took til March to get to our ONLY COURT DATE in which an agreement was made between my ex and myself with the most minimal help from Jodi. In the process of her extremely unprofessional handling of my custody case, I decided to go with another attorney for my license. I have been requesting my $800 to be refunded but came with silence. She said she would provide an itemized receipt and never received that. Then yesterday after months of trying to get my money back from my license, I received an email forwarded from her secretary that I'm not entitled a refunded and still no itemized receipt. AVOID THIS LAWYER AT ALL COST! SHE IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF AND IS LITERALLY HORRIBLE AT HER JOB!!!
