Met with Rolland Sizemore and Tim Turkelson on a consult 1) Mr. Sizemore and Mr. Turkelson have perfected the art of communicating to non-lawyers in a clear and accurate manner without any legalese and with a broad look at all of one's options ; while balancing the risks and benefits of each option.They also did not "talk down " to us-presenting our options in a non-judgemental manner . 2)Their experience is both breathtaking and practical. They know the law -effortlessly- but the art of criminal law practice in state circuit and district court is knowing the court, as well. Those skills were clearly reflected by how they explained their legal strategy tailored around the particular court with jurisdiction over our case. They were even focused enough to know details about the court's operation that if we leveraged those details , could maximize our case' success. 3) They're both nice guys. That's not to say they are not aggressive.Their confidence in their abilities to manage and try our case was communicated to us ,effectively . And that gave me confidence that they would be zealous advocates in our cause. However, they had the discretion to know when to discuss their "shark strategy" with us and when to be supportive. 4) For what we were looking for, their fee was reasonable. Criminal law defense is expensive by most anybody's standard, but the relative value of what they were offering us compared to what other firms were offering for the same fee , given their experience and resources, was outstanding . 5) From the beginning. they made us feel comfortable , by assigning a case manager who provided guidance and support before we met with the attorneys. In sum, I would give high praise to Manley and Manley and more specifically to attorneys Sizemore and Turkelson.I definitely recommend them for any criminal defense needs.
