Patrick Chatterton is an amazing lawyer. Hes patient, and understanding of your situation. He does everything he can to do whats in your best interest. He fights for present fathers and our rights when no one else will. Above and beyond, I will never go with anyone else. 10/10 you will not be disappointed

I leave Patrick, as a a professional, a plus one. His disgustingly rude, arrogant, and downright disrespectful "secretary" AKA his wife, gets a negative four. How dare you ask for a paper trail of where of where your money went and/or asking for your account balance before agreeing to any further services. In the course of five months, I inquired about my balance four times. The same answer every time " your profile still needs to build and update in order to give you that balance." Should have been a huge red flag after the second time I asked and received the same answer. After weeks of contemplation about how I should move forward, I called this morning to let them know I decided to go it alone this time due to having a successful day in court yesterday without needed Patrick's help. Tracy instantly copped a snide attitude, and tried to hang up on me. I was able to keep her on the line just long enough, to express my extreme concern about my balance, for the FIFTH time. This resulted in a flat LIE, stating that she never told me I owed them more money, that any underage from my last retainer will be refunded (of course the amount could not be provided until my profile is reviewed and finalized) and that they wish me the best of luck. How are you going to ask for another $1500 two weeks ago, to now refunding an underage? literally have a transcribed voicemail that clearly states another $1500 would be needed prior to they next court date. That this would cover any overage OR UNDERAGE THAT MAY BE. Like I'm foolish enough to hand over another decent some of money, when you have yet to provide one single invoice/account statement. Anyone with half a functioning brain can clearly see that they Have no actual clue and obviously care so little for their clients that they can't even keep their books up to date. If you are looking for an attorney with stellar Google reviews, zero professionalism, zero courtesy, zero care, zero integrity , zero accountability, and zero respect from "office stafff" this is the place for you.

I met with several attorneys before meeting Attorney Chatterton. I knew almost immediately, that he was the right choice for my custody situation. He's upfront and honest from the start. No wasting time on ridiculous drawn-out arguments. He'll tell you the likely outcomes to allowing you to make educated decisions. But don't think he won't fight for you! His sharp witt and level head allow you to feel relaxed and comfortable during stressful times.

You have to appreciate a lawyer that looks after women, but professionalism is also important. He's completely reactive and unmovable in negotiations . Long drawn out Divorce cases. does not facilitate the following of agreements. Does not deal in facts. Cannot keep a client in line. Of course, opinions are opinions. Mine may be skewed from 3 1/2 years of dealing with him and going through multiple lawyers in the process. My recommendation if you're looking for attorneys in Genesee County is to look elsewhere. I believe they're colluding together to create larger bills for clients through the whole system. Go in there with a good Oakland County attorney or possibly Livingston.
