(Edit) IF this is the same lawyer formerly from G***r in BC, then a HARD-NO! I went in for a consultation. I was looking to hire them/him for a pretty rough case against me that I had many witnesses, and proof for. He said to tell him everything. I was panicked and excitably- upset. He verbally berated my concerns. The police were ready to hang me out to dry without ever taking my statement, and weren't willing to listen to my side. At all. He told me (paraphrasing) that none of that mattered. If they're accusing me, then I MUST have done something. My (then) wife walked out. I soon followed. I LITERALLY gave all the necessary information to the detective, and witnesses to interview. Basically did my own defense. The detective agreed with me and dropped the case 3 weeks later.

If you are a single mother trying to get help for Child support, Health Insurance or anything from your Ex, this is DEFINITELY NOT the Lawyer for you!!!! There was next to no communication from him during the entire court proceedings, he does not return phone calls/messages nor does he reply to emails! Once he has his fee upfront your case is dead to him and you can forget ever getting a dime back. BEWARE, Brian Jean is not a good choice for a Lawyer, save your money!

I'm wondering if there happens to be two Brian Jean attorneys in Bay County. The one my son had last year, did nothing but make an easy $4,000.00 to end up with a 50/50 custody decision. I could have done better with what should have been an easy win. He played hell getting him to return a call. Then to find out he didn't work at the same office anymore with no notification. There was zero fight for my son and now my grandbaby is in a worse situation. ZERO stars..... would not recommend.

Brian is a very competent lawyer who cares about his clients. He works to do the best by his clients and has the ability to win. He is a great lawyer
