I cannot recommend John Mateus enough. His understanding of the law is surpassed only by his ability to turn that into a defense strategy which is solid and covers all the bases. John was my defense attorney and successfully defended me against a series of non-sensical charges that were all dismissed. His preparation - of himself and me - was extensive. I almost wish we had gone to trial so that I could have seen him in action. We reached out to John Mateus for legal guidance on a home we purchased in 2017. Unbeknownst to us the yard was littered with Japanese Knotweed, foreign debris and endless amounts of glass.. we were up against a contractor who wouldn't stand by his product and remedy the wrongs.
