Attorney Moriarty ultimately lost my custody battle, as I have spoken with other lawyers since the end of our trial I have come to understand that there was a serious miscarriage of justice and it was done in large part to having an attorney who did not properly prepare. My family is being torn apart because of a lack of preparation and best interest. I was so fooled into thinking she had my son's and my best interest at heart I even let go of a restraining order against our abuser on her recommendation. To be fair she may be great in other aspects of being a lawyer but not with regard to custody. I do have to mention her paralegal, she was wonderful. Very helpful and talked me through so many very hard spots of this case. I wonder though if she is so great at her job because Attorney Moriarty is lacking in proper guidance. All I can say is please do your homework before getting a lawyer, I was desperate and saw mine as a life raft and that isn't what they are. I want to be clear that there is no ill will on my end only a hope that she do better with her next client. She devistated my family but my best defense to that is continued fighting for what is right and just for my son.

Tanya Moriarty was a true blessing to our family. I scoured all over the internet and called family and friend just to find a good family court attorney.
