Anton was my first lawyer in a long and contentious divorce that is ongoing six years later. He is a collaborative lawyer who is empathetic, responsive, and knowledgeable. He was able to identify the personality issues with the man I have been trying to divorce right away and knew what I would be dealing with from the beginning. In retrospect, his early warnings were all there and I was the optimistic and naive one. Although I eventually needed different counsel for reasons unrelated to Anton's skill and experience, I wanted to share a perspective about the legal system and attorneys that I have truly learned the hard way. It is very difficult to find a lawyer who is a combination of caring, responsive, and knows what they are doing. Anton is all three and he hires associates who are in the same mold. You feel less like a billable unit and more as if you have an advocate during a difficult time. Even a year after he stopped being my lawyer I felt I could call him for advice and he returned my call the same morning. For anyone going through an awful divorce, finding the right counsel who is able to explain the court process very clearly, is critical. Best wishes to anyone going through a divorce!
