Although I respected Mr. Shuman's time he was unprepared for all of our appointments and I found myself having to explain the details of my case repetitively due to his lack of taking adequate notes or in some instances claiming to have misplaced his notes. Mr. Shuman was very straight forward which I really liked, however he does not properly set expectations and reacts on emotion. Do not expect a phone call from him or his assistants if your appointment (with him) needs to be canceled and rescheduled due to a snow storm. He definitely has an ego and will often boast and tell you a number of times how selective he is when choosing clients to represent and how others lawyers are afraid to go to trial. Not the most professional lawyer.
