Absolutely ruthless collections attorneys. Although some may read that and think that's what you want in a collections attorney, their tactics did not work on me, because they are just bullies and are not smart about the way they conduct themselves in the collections process. My Dad defaulted on some loans with Rockland Trust Bank and attorney Michael Wirtz was assigned to the case. He went after my dad and I even though I was not obligated on my dad's loans, and I had no connection to them. He tried everything and, in the end, got nothing for his client, got kicked off the case, and from what we can see online, they lost the client too. This all happened after 8 straight months of them attacking us and only stopped when we sent a 93A letter and a new law firm was assigned. They are just a bunch of bullies who don't take the time to learn the details of their cases and, and make no attempt to work with people to obtain the best outcome for their client.
