My siblings and I had lost our father about a year ago and asked Ben to help us with some things we needed done. We are still fairly young and weren't sure how to go about any of this. Ben was absolutely amazing to work with. He answered all our questions and got everything we needed taken care of. Couldn't recommend him more!

Beware, Benjamin Smith is a thief and a liar. He will take your money, then fail to represent your interests. He will improperly file or outright fail to file appropriate documents and paperwork. He will disregard information, documents, and facts you give him, and misrepresent you in court. He will openly make false statements about you, your interactions, your case. His negligence allowed my brother to dodge all of his duties as executor to my father's estate, has cost me tens of thousands of dollars in damages, allowed my brothers mismanagement to run the estate into the ground and go unchallenged for damages inflicted to real estate, and loss of items. It cost me my own home trying to keep the family home from being condemned or foreclosed on. Benjamin Smith openly lied in court repeatedly and then I was not allowed to present documents for several of the lies showing they were lies. He is now helping my brother try to force me out of the family home - after I am the only one who tried to save it and mitigate the damages. I am the one who originally hired and paid him! He is a despicable human being and a worthless and crooked attorney.

Update: Written on behalf and with the permission of the client, a late, beloved, elderly parent, who didn't deserve to be deceived and betrayed, as well as misrepresented, by people whom he trusted, including one or more law professionals, who should have cared more to avoid engaging in easily avoidable conflicts of interest. This lawyer's professionalism (ie., lawfulness and ethics) is apparently very controversial. Thus working with him has been very disturbing and even shocking to say the least. He's willing to place his own personal interests above his clients' if he apparently feels risk of detection and exposure is low. He's even willing to betray a client to help out another client, too, while apparently not caring about the potential adverse consequences to the parties involved, including his client(s). ..He also doesn't accept honest criticism but doesn't seem to mind giving dishonest criticism. Update: This lawyer's response blatantly confirms the validity of the reviewer's concerns about him.

Ben was very helpful with my probate problem. He is a knowledgeable attorney, but what is most important when setting up an estate, is using someone that is trustworthy, and that is Ben. A friend of mine is trying to dig out of a mess created by an unscrupulous attorney.

Everything that's wrong in the world right now. Don't help anyone unless it means $$ for you.
