I hired Heather during one of the most traumatic times in my life. I was dealing with false accusations from a toxic ex that affected my relationship with my children, and my girlfriend had a similar case with Heather at the same time. We both trusted Heather based on recommendations -- but unfortunately, our experiences were incredibly disappointing. I spent over $6,000 trying to get clarity on a parenting-time schedule and rarely got direct answers. Months would go by without updates, calls were never returned, and I was left in the dark constantly. My girlfriend spent over $10,000 and received the same treatment , ignored messages, unanswered questions, and in the end, Heather said there was "nothing she could do." What's worse is that my ex shared emails from Heather that we had never even received. This made us question where our money actually went and whether we were being misled the entire time. It felt like she took advantage of us at our lowest and never delivered what we paid for. If you're looking for someone to advocate for you, keep you informed, and actually do the work, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. You will get put through the ringer with so many unanswered questions, and regret for hiring her.

I cannot express how much Heather-Jill Williams is worth her weight in gold! I went through a divorce that took 3 YEARS, 2 attorney's, and another 3 days of TRIAL. If you need to make sure your case is 100% fair, she is the attorney you NEED. I originally saw her reviews on Google and decided to go with a "five star" attorney instead. BAD BAD TERRIBLE IDEA!! Turns out my "five star" attorney was getting strong armed, and trying to make deals in their favor! I asked for recommendations through word of mouth, private groups, friends, etc, and Heather was HIGHLY recommended. Now I know why. Getting divorced takes a lot of work on both the attorney and the clients part. Document ALL the things. When she was called "rude" in a google review, I'll admit I was leery. After 3 years of working with her I have realized that Heather is in fact just direct. You don't hire an attorney to be coddled. Take information straightforward. No muss no fuss. Do you want a pit bull or a poodle in your corner? Heather is incredibly knowledgeable with the law, extremely quick thinking on her feet, stealthy in trial, and can save you loads of time, energy, and money. You won't get bullied by tyrant attorneys, or get swindled in your case with Heather.

She goes the extra mile for her clients in the courtroom but when they're ready to settle, she commits to reaching a reasonable resolution. She knows when to dig in and when to walk away. I am grateful to have her in the my legal community. If you need someone to really go to bat for you on a very difficult case, Heather is an excellent choice.

Unprepared, unprofessional and uncaring. All about the $$, flashing big diamond rings and complaining about not having time to spend in her heated swimming pool because of having to work on my case-- which she proceeded to bungle by not developing any proactive narrative. She couldn't care less about clients. It's all about her cozy relationships with other attorneys and grabbing cash from clients at every juncture. On the eve of trial she demanded an additional $25k to go forward, knowing full well I had no option but to pay as demanded. She soaked me for another $10k after trial to write proposed findings, which *I* ended up having to research and write because she never did it! She lost after all that.

Message says, leave a message and they'll call you back, not to call over and over again. I'd recommend getting another lawyer because one treating you like you don't matter is not who you want advocating for you. After several calls over two weeks time with only one call back from the office, it's pretty clear that she does not need any more customers.
