David George Carlson

I was referred to Dave by my realtor to handle the closing of my home. Some of the work on the house was not finished so some contingencies were put into the agreement for the work to be finished after the closing. Long story short I had numerous issues getting the unfinished work to be completed. In hindsight the contract was very poorly done. On top of that when I reached out to Dave looking for some assistance with a question about the contract he couldn't be bothered to help. I would not hire him again and warn others to look elsewhere if looking for a real estate attorney.

Although my father had the forethought to have his affairs in order prior to his passing,Mr. Carlson assisted in assuring us (my mom, sister and I), everything was correct. He also drew up mom's power of attorney, healthcare proxy, and other paperwork in the event she became unable to do so herself. That was back in 2018. Fast forward to 2021 she has declined cognitively and the forms have been necessary in assiting mom in accessing necessary health and legal affairs. I recently touched base with Mr Carlson regarding whether any amendments to the documents were needed. He responded within 10 to 15 minutes of leaving an email. Mr Carlson's prices are reasonable and he explains everything in a simple, manner without the use of legal jargon. Thank you again
