Client Testimonials

Client

★★★★★

We worked closely with Andy and his team, who proved to be an invaluable part of our home-buying journey as first-time buyers. Andy and his assistant, Dawn, were consistently communicative and highly responsive throughout the entire process. On closing day, we met with Andy first thing in the morning and were able to move into our new home later that very same day. His expertise, professionalism, and calm, organized approach made the final steps of the home-buying process feel seamless and stress-free. We're incredibly grateful to have had Andy and his team by our side!

Selling our home went as smooth as it could due to the expertise of David Ekelund and Ashley Tarchara. From start to finish they were there to guide and assist us and I cannot recommend them enough. No matter what arises their professionalism and advocacy for your interests will see you through to the end.

I was a first time home buyer working with Andy and his team, specifically Dawn. Very easy to keep in contact with Andy and Dawn via email. They took care of everything that needed to be done and kept me updated along the way. Closing day came and went without a hitch. Easy and straight forward. Andy was knowledgeable and helpful answering all the questions I had. I would definitely recommend working with Andy and his team!

Working with Attorney Andy Schwartz was an absolute 5-star experience! As a realtor, I've worked with many attorneys, but Andy and his team truly stand out. From start to finish, his communication was always timely, clear, and professional. He made sure every step of the process was smooth and stress-free for my seller. What really impressed me was how knowledgeable and responsive his entire team was--they made complex legal matters easy to understand and always had our backs. But what truly sets Andy apart is his fierce advocacy. During the final walk-through, when the buyer tried to push for additional last-minute discounts, Andy stood firm and protected my seller without hesitation. He ensured the deal remained fair and that my client wasn't taken advantage of. If you're a seller or a realtor looking for a trustworthy attorney who communicates well, simplifies the legal process, and knows exactly when to stand up and fight for you--Andy Schwartz is your guy. Highly recommend!

We had a deeply disappointing experience with Crowley and Cummings during our recent home purchase. While they were supposed to represent our interests, we ended up doing much of the work ourselves -- and paying thousands for the seller's breach of contract. Several terms of the purchase and sale agreement were not met by the seller, and instead of holding the seller or their attorney accountable, Crowley and Cummings left us to manage the situation ourselves. We -- not our legal team -- had to chase down the seller's contractors, contact the town to confirm permits, and follow up to ensure things were completed before closing. There were also mistakes in the financial transfers. Despite giving clear instructions on how our sale proceeds were to be wired (and even connecting their accountant with our lender), those instructions were ignored. The money was disbursed incorrectly and we were hit with bank fees. The most egregious issue involved a backyard filled with debris, including a toilet and rotting doghouse, which the seller was contractually obligated to remove. Not only was it not removed by closing, but we were told she had 30 days post-closing. She still didn't follow through. We were advised to hire junk removal and told it would be paid from escrow. But the attorney hadn't held back enough, so we were stuck paying the remainder -- for something the seller was supposed to do. In every one of these situations -- from contractor follow-ups to junk removal -- my husband and I did all the legwork, while the firm's response was essentially, "Yes, that's frustrating." In the end, we've spent nearly $5,000 cleaning up after the seller's failure to uphold the agreement -- and Crowley and Cummings failed to back us up. If you want a real estate law firm that will truly advocate for you and enforce the contract, I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
