I wanted to share my recent experience attempting to speak with Sheldon regarding a real estate transaction in which I am representing the seller. I am a licensed realtor here in Maryland. The case is quite complex, and Sheldon is listed as the attorney who prepared some documents for the now-deceased individual. I reached out to him at the request of the current attorney at title company to clarify some details. Unfortunately, I was unable to even explain the situation before Sheldon cut me off mid-sentence and eventually hung up on me. I was simply trying to obtain basic information to help move this real estate transaction toward settlement. His behavior was extremely disrespectful, dismissive, and highly unprofessional. I do not know Sheldon personally, but this interaction was deeply disappointing. While I understand that everyone is busy, taking a few minutes to answer questions, especially when your name appears on legal documentation, seems like a reasonable expectation. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise against working with Sheldon or patronizing his business.
