They simply instruct solicitors for you, so avoid and find a solicitors yourself I really wish I knew that when I instructed them that they were simply going to instruct a solicitors firm on my behalf. Nearly a week a waiting for BRM Legal to make contact I started ringing them. They were not responding to emails, voice messages and simply not answering the phone. One day I rang 10+ times after someone answered the phone only the hang up instantly to stop the ringing. Millennium Legal then instructed another solicitor's who again did not respond to emails and did not answer the phone. When buying a house, you really want someone on the other end of the line to help you but the lack of professionalism and contact made me pull the entire contract from Millennium Legal. They were helpful but what is the point in having a middle man? A lesson now learnt. Annoyed that as I was quick on my part, PS25 fee for identification checks will not be refunded is not good enough as the reason for requiring a refund is due to the lack of service that Millennium Legal were able to provide. UPDATE: February - Still awaiting refund and it has been 9 weeks in waiting. UPDATE: May - luckily my credit card company refunded me as I never received anything except an abusive email from the CEO of BRM Legal demanding that I remove my trustPilot review before he authorises a refund. Hmmmm no that's not how it works.
