Was told he negotiated a PBJ, and 4 years later I tried to get my Maryland HQL and was told I could not, because it was a guilty plea and not a PBJ. I got another attorney, Robert Bonsib, to look into it and he said that it wasn't a PBJ and a motion for reconsideration wasn't filed in time. Gun rights gone forever over a crime I didnt do but just plead out thinking it was PBJ.

Very unprofessional. Mr. Shakur never returns calls or emails. His receptionist is rude and doesn't take the matters at hand seriously. I opened my case with this office in July 2019. It is 02/2020 and still no update. When I complained about it , I received a packet in the mail telling me they wouldn't represent me anymore. After 7 months of having my case and not doing anything. I called twice a month with no return call or email. When I said I would call the board of ethics, he stopped working my case. Wasting 7 months of my time. He didn't take my case serious , because to them it was a small fender bender. I have been out of work for months now. I do not recommend this law office at all.
