After suffering a traumatic dog attack, I attempted to meet with Attorney Robert Levine on December 19, 2024, at our scheduled time of 4:00 PM. He never showed. Only after I had already arrived and left did he call to say he was in court. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and met with him twice more. During those meetings, he assured me--face to face--that he would take my case on contingency. He collected my emergency room and plastic surgery records, spent time gathering all relevant details, and even stated he would be sending a demand letter to the responsible party in March. Now, four months later, after dragging this out and giving me false hope, he suddenly informs me that he's refusing to take the case after all--claiming it's "too risky" because the dog owner didn't have insurance. This is something that should have been determined from the beginning--not after wasting months of my time, during which I could have pursued another attorney. This conduct is beyond unprofessional. I came to Mr. Levine in a vulnerable state, looking for help and accountability, and instead was met with empty promises, poor communication, and a complete lack of follow-through. Do yourself a favor and find an attorney who values your time and your trauma--not someone who leads you on and backs out when it no longer suits them.

Unprofessional, ineffective, and lacking empathy. Strongly discourage them. By far the world worst lawyer! So pathetic and zero humanity. Highly don't recommend them.

He is one of the best lawyers that I know or have seen doing their job. He does everything.... Criminal, civil family, and lawsuits. He has done me and others I know extremely well on the criminal side, and I had him take care of a lawsuit for me also, which he made sure I got what was fair. He really truly puts the work in to do the best for you, and that's whether you have him court appointed or if you're paying him directly. He also has taken care of social security for me. I know him on the outside world out of legal business also and he is a very kind hearted, caring & generous person. I have recommended numerous friends and family members and they have ALL been completely satisfied with the outcome.
