@ first working with a court appointed lawyer I was very skeptical. At this point I really had no choice but to put my trust in someone I did not know from a hole in the wall. I got pulled over for my head light out and a simple traffic stop turned to a nightmare really fast due to my past. I was on the side of the road for 2 hours with this police officer in my face telling me I was on something and the more he harassed me the more he was triggering my anxiety and ptsd. No more how many times I told this police officer I wasn't on anything he still continues to ask me what are you on, I know you are on something. It didn't stop there though he kept going with the harassment on telling me he knows I am on something and arrested me. I sat in the police cruiser for another 45 minutes watching him ram sack my car for drugs that definitely wasn't there. This police officer had me so scared I just wanted to get to the police station and I soon learned I would be there for another two hours being harassed. My breathalyzer came back 0.00, I failed more test at the police station than I did on road side. So after all said and done they asked me for a blood test I definitely agree to that the arresting officers was shocked on that one came back with no Narcotic drugs in my system. My whole life was being destroyed by a Police officer that was taking his badge and using it for power. Matt, Kept me out of the jail time I was facing, he kept me out of a year probation, and he kept me out of substance abuse counseling. Mean time in these 8 months of hell he made it so I would be able to drive 90 percent of this time. After said and done I hired him on to do my motor vehicle hearing. And at the end of the day this was a learning experience I never want to face again, but I did not lose my license. Matt checked in on me weekly to see how I was or highly professional on telling me my next steps on what I needed to do. Matt was highly professional with all the moves he was making in my defense and definitely a caring compassionate lawyer. I don't hug very many people but the day I won my motor vehicle hearing I had to give this man a hug. He saved my life from being destroyed by a power trip police officer. And for that I will forever be grateful. It goes 50/50 with this one he worked hard to help me and my honesty was the other big price in this, I see people say court appointed lawyers are not going to help, I see it differently they work with what you give them to work with.

I have never had this sort of relationship with a lawyer ever before. Matt Bowe is an excellent lawyer and a great human being.
