Bourgeois Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab

I had knee replacement 3/31/25 and went to Bourgeois because I heard great reviews about it and they weren't wrong!! My therapist Jason was amazing; took time to listen and teach me new exercises. Gave me some to do at home also.. Ladies at front desk were always courteous, friendly, willing to reschedule me if needed. Place was very spacious and always clean. I will always recommend Bourgeois PT and Jason. Thank you Jason for everything.

I'm usually not one to leave reviews, but I feel I really need to. I have had to have several surgeries over the years, which all required physical therapy afterwards. A little embarrassing but they're not all my fault. They were:Broken wrist compound fracture, rotator cuff and torn Labrum, neck, second shoulder, major back and the latest- complete tear of Achilles at bottom and shredded it at top. I was recommended by a friend Bourgeois Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab in Prairieville. To say the least, I was not looking forward to it as I never got what I feel I needed in the past. I met with Christian for initial visit, I was impressed by his positive attitude, personal attention and all the information he was asking. Well I was told by the surgeon, my Doctor and numerous people (who all thought they were doctors) this was at least an 8 month to a year recovery. I relayed to Christian to safely push me as hard as I could go. He did, custom work plans, pin point messages that made me want to cry and a lot more. There was a time about 4 months in I wanted to quit. He talked with me and explained to me once again it would come. Wow, here it is 6 months and I'm where I was supposed to be in a year. Christian, thank you for not letting me give up and all of your guidance, knowledge, persistence and support. You will always be my Physical Therapist moving forward. I can not recommend this place enough. We have been coming here since my daughter was 4 (she's now almost 12). She has a genetic condition so she will ALWAYS need PT - we will never NOT come here. They have treated us like family since we walked through the door. From the owners, to the therapist, the finance and insurance ladies as well as front desk. Rennie is my daughter's therapist and their relationship is like none other. They joke and play but they get things done. He goes above and beyond what "therapy" should be. He gets to her level, plays her favorite music, gets interested in things she is interested and incorporates that into their sessions - who else does that! Like i said, I can't not say enough great things about this place. If you are looking for just a PT...this is not the place....but, if you are looking to get better, healthy, in need of PT in a familial like environment - they have you covered! Thanks to everyone there for all that you do and have done for our family!

Bourgeois Physical Therapy is hands down the best place to get your therapy done. Christian, Jason, and Kish have been my therapist so far. Christian and Jason are at the Prairieville location and Kish is at the Gonzales location. I have had my left leg straightened, my left knee and hip replaced and my right hip replaced. Brianna and Jenny are their staff and they are absolutely great. Brooke, Devin and Michaela are also fantastic Therapists. Overall Bourgeois Physical Therapy makes you feel like family!!

Christian and his staff are top notch! Feels like you are part of the family from the moment you walk in. Rennie is an exceptional PT and had me back right as rain in no time. The ladies at the front desk are no exception and will work tirelessly with you to schedule appts or work through insurance issues. Definitely recommend Bourgeois Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab for all of your physical therapy or sports rehab needs!!
