I had to file a claim for long term disability after being given the run around for several months from my insurance company I finally got a denial letter. I looked up attorney's and I had hired one that had said he would handle my appeal and that I definitely had a case. After working with him for a month he decided that my claim wasn't going to be big enough for him to spend his time on. So I started looking around for a new lawyer and I came across Mr. Pellegrin and after speaking with him he took my case. He said he handles cases no matter how big or small the payout would be. By the time he took my case we only had a few months to get my appeal in. He got right to work on it and had it sent in a few days before the deadline. A month later he notified me that we won my appeal. It was so easy having him as my lawyer the 1st one had me filling out all kinds of paperwork but with Mr. Pellegrin I gave him all of the paperwork that I had from communicating with the insurance company and he asked me to write a statement and he handled everything else. I highly recommend giving him a call if you're looking for help with a long term disability case or trying to file for social security disability. His rate is very reasonable and he doesn't keep charging you for future benefits like some lawyers do. I don't normally write reviews but he deserves this one. I was in tears after being denied my benefits and just needed someone to be on my side to fight for me and I'm so grateful I found Mr. Pellegrin. I cannot say enough great things about David Pellegrin. No one wants to hire an attorney and in the New Orleans/Metro area it's even more difficult to know if you're hiring the right one. We were put in a situation where we had no choice but to hire an attorney and were up against one of the largest life insurance companies there is. We were very fortunate to be referred to Mr. Pellegrin. We called and spoke a little bit about our case and were asked to email over all the paperwork we had at the time and within a few days we received a call back saying he would take our case. Upon meeting him we realized immediately we made the right choice because of his knowledge about the laws of our case plus, he has a very comforting style. He made us feel we were in the best hands and had a great chance of winning our case even against a company that had many attorneys at their disposal.
