Mc Quinn D Lyle

If you are looking for a lawyer that handles things professionally and with integrity, I would run from this guy. Dealing with him after my father died has been awful. I am beginning to wonder if he has cheated my father out of something and he is trying to cover it up. My sister and I asked to see the will and he has told us to get a lawyer and no longer contact him. We have no connection to Lyle other than he was my father's attorney responsible for the planning of his estate. My father would never have chosen him if he knew he would treat us so poorly.

My experience has been pretty much the same as the previous reviewer. I would have given a 0 rating if I could have. Mr. McQuinn is not the attorney you want for representing your estate and/or trust fund if you want a professional who will do it correctly and communicate with your family. He will create your will/estate and establish a trust fund, but not fund it. Then, when you pass, he becomes the executor of the will/estate and your family is left at his mercy. The estate must be settled BEFORE the trust can be funded, so your family will have no idea what is going on until it's settled and you receive a letter. Because the trust isn't funded, he has total control of everything. No liability on his part to communicate with your family. Just ridiculous! I too, wonder if he has/will swindle from the estate. When I finally dug into the county probate records, I found a court settlement date a year in advance. I sent him a screenshot and asked if the date was actually when we could expect it to be settled. His reply was VERY rude! Mr. McQuinn: "It always saddens me when a person passes away and everyone is a lot more interested in the money and what they receive etc than the persons life being passed and remembering them. I am following the law I am doing as required by the law and instructed by XXXXXXX. I will not be in contact with you anymore. I will be filing matters with the court and proceeding as required by law and requested by XXXXXXX." So, you decide, but you have been warned!

I would not recommend. Family had issues with estate matters, very erratic, non-responses, and then legal threatening. Had the same experience the other reviewer mentioned. Per new attorney, this guy left things in an absolute mess.
