Love Cavanah and his team of experts. I was never left with questions in any situation. Of course, legal problems always require time and patience, but they made sure to take care of any questions/concerns and most of all, they had extreme sympathy and compassion. I was not happy with his work. We barely spoke and maybe because I wasn't in the same state he didn't put much effort into my case. I wish I had the same outcome as everyone that's giving 4-5 stars. I went through a divorce and one of the things I was not happy with is the fact that I felt outnumbered. I asked the lawyer how much of child support I needed to give and when do I need to start, he told me I didn't need to worry about that until the divorce was finalized. The lawyer told me that we were going to have a meeting with the other party and have a mediator. I asked why if the ex and I were in agreement on splitting the house and that's pretty much all we were going to do. the lawyer did not know why and that the ex's lawyer didn't mention why. At the meeting with the mediator the ex dropped a bombshell on me (I was on the phone because I was out of state), he put me against the wall that he wanted the entire house or he gets my retirement. my lawyer pretty much asked what I wanted to do and that he didn't know they were bringing that to the table. I felt like he didn't fight for me. Later on that day the ex texted me, asking me why I haven't paid child support and that both lawyers were wondering the same thing. So now I'm sure I'm being looked upon as a bad mother. This lawyer had a conversation with me 3 days prior to a meeting and forgot what we spoke about. I wish I could've done more research on finding a lawyer that was going to put the effort but I didn't have time because I was coming back from overseas and soon leaving out country again. At the end, I didn't gain anything. I ended up losing my portion of the house, which in reality, I had financially invested on more than the ex but that's another story.

Duncan Cavanaugh is my attorney for my divorce, child custody, etc. They stay busy but never to busy to help. I had a situation yesterday where I needed Duncan and Cathy 6 or 7 times and always got the help I needed and wanted to the best of their ability within the law. I know people that call their lawyer and are lucky to get a call back the following day at a reasonable time if at all. I'm more than pleased and anyone needing help in any areas of law I recommend Duncan hands down no question. Even if it may not be one he particularly practices in I have faith you'd be pointed in the right direction. It's been a blessing knowing you can reach out in urgency or just a random question and you have an attorney you can depend on and trust. I can't say enough about Duncan and Cathy. Great people and always always dependable.
