I had originally retained counsel with someone who had been dragging out the divorce process for 7 months and absolutely nothing had been accomplished. Not even one court hearing. I then decided to get a second opinion and went to Margo. Within 6 weeks the divorce was final and she had prevent me from paying out a large sum of money that the previous counsel had stated was going to be what I would have to pay my ex. Jennifer Landry has been true to her word. Told me the truth when I didn't want to hear it. She was very mythological and judicial throughout my custody case. To this point she has done everything that she said she would. I would highly recommend Jennifer Landry to any family or friend in need of legal representation. Allie Stevens is the most incompetent young lawyer ever. Paid lots of money and I had to defend myself in court because she couldn't do it. She is very quiet and doesn't fight back. Fired her during court. Had to defend myself. She has no business being lawyer. Not very knowledgeable at all. Rehired another powerhouse attorney the next day. You will be doing your own discovery work instead of her doing her job. Best decision ever was to fire her in the middle of court.

Ms. Landry was recommended to me. She was present and there the first day of court and I thought we had someone fighting for us. After leaving court I send multiple emails trying to get in touch to talk about many things I had questions about. I had called left a message and no return email or call. We had court again Tuesday morning and I finally got an email same morning between 7-8am saying she was sending someone else in her place for our 9am court. She was in sick and not able to come. We waited for lawyers to come talk to us and I still to this day don't even know what the replacement lawyer looks like because she never left the court room or even spoke to me. I was the one that hired and made sure the bill was paid. I not once got to defend myseld against any accusations. This was a case that involved me and my sister. My sister didn't even get to speak to her either. Just thrown right in court room then told we lost. I wish we would of had a lawyer that really was there for us and instead we got someone who did absolutely nothing not even return a phone call after all this. If u have an important case I would highly recommend finding a lawyer who will return a phone call or email over a weeks time and will also be there to speak to u before court and will actually defend you and fight for what they are hired for....this is NOT at all the right place if u want help making sure you are heard or defended. Horrible experience Only gave 2 stars because I thought our first court date we had a good lawyer. Soon realized she couldn't even returned the phone call or even email. Do NOT recommend at all!

Margo Grubbs is the most sincere lawyer I have ever met. She truly cared about me and my situation and did the most she could with my case, she's one of the best people I have ever met. If youre looking for a good lawyer in Nky this one is worth every penny!
