DO NOT HIRE THIS SCAM OF A LAW FIRM! Looks like I'm not the only one scammed out of my hard earned money. I hired this law firm in February for a very sensitive case, no communication that original attorney had left and hadn't filed anything, second attorney files incorrect motion then leaves the law firm, third attorney took her sweet time filing anything, finally in June a CORRECT motion was filed, she even missed a court date in August pushing my case back even further. No communication but they charge you for reaching out so you know what is going on with your case, they intentionally dragged my case out to get more money out of me, someone with no law degree won against them, so that should tell you what type of law firm they are. Every time I questioned billing they could never give me a straight answer, reached out to Shannon Smith multiple times she never responded to my request. Charged me $957 just to fire them! I was scammed out of $6,080 from this law firm. It is not right what they are doing!

I felt like an insignificant person much less able to speak with a real attorney. After describing my case to an intake specialist I was told there would be a return phone call. I asked what the services were and how much the retainer fee would cost I was told 900$. I did not consider their representation at anytime. Suddenly I received an email with a payment plan. scheduled from this firm whom was never considered. I had a free initial consultation. When I was told that $900 would start the case I was flabbergasted. I have an outstanding case with plenty of documentatI ended up hiring a firm in Michigan that had taken on this company before and they understood every detail with no charge.My experncece with this firm was disappointing and I am surprised they receive acceptable reviews. If they could have given more effort to listening inside of charging they may have had my case!! I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Shelby Campbell at the Law Offices of Shannon C. Smith. Communication was poor from the start. I rarely received updates on my case unless I reached out myself, which left me feeling ignored and uncertain. What made things worse was being billed for time spent discussing billing concerns, something other attorneys I've worked with never charged for since those conversations weren't about the case itself. I disputed those charges and was promised a response, but that promise was broken. In the end, I paid the bill just to avoid late fees and the extra stipulations they included. I would caution anyone considering this firm to be extremely careful with the billing process and to question every charge they send.

Exceptional service from start to finish. The attorneys at this firm are incredibly talented in their ability of handling property case. They were proactive in the integrity of my wants and needs and kept me updated every step of the way! It was resolved quickly and fairly.
