My family waited two and a half years for a conciliation report. The lawyer assigned to the case, stopped communicating with us entirely in November of 2022. When she finally communicated she dismissed everything saying oh I had three funerals and a long illness. When we received the report in December, it was absolutely the worst thing ever written. Facts about both families were either wrong or assigned to the wrong person. My Dad DIED, he didn't leave. The holiday schedule was completely messed up, something that we had told her she had wrong in 2022. Both parents asked for a change in a day from Wednesday to Thursday and she completely didn't address it. Her research was incomplete on subjects she brought up in the report. You know when a big deadline is 24 hrs away and you start it the night before? That's how this report is written. Should you ever be assigned Stacy Ortega, God help you. You are about to experience a train wreck you have never seen before. Did the report go "my way?" No but honestly that is completely irrelevant, she clearly showed she had no business making decisions for my family.

My experience with Stacy was good. We went through her for mediation and finished in just one session. I truly wish that the viewpoints in the state of Kansas were a little bit different on dad's trying to be present and involved in children's lives. Unfortunately, I did not receive very fair parenting time throughout the year with my daughter. Stacy was easy to talk to and let everyone have their own turns talking.

I have been working with this attorney for over three years now and I have had the absolute worst experience I could ever possibly imagine. I've PREPAID over $7,500 in fees to her and still have yet to see a judge. First filing paper work in 2020! It is now May of 2023! Worst attorney with a care-free attitude to say the least. Awful service. BAD communication. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Will allow court date extensions & changes for opposing parties without first talking to you and approving with you as the client! My soon to-be Ex husband and I have yet to see a judge and he is CURRENTLY & has been violating multiple court orders for weeks. I requested they file "a motion for contempt and appearance form" after 4 days the office "has no recourse of action" - quoting Stacy Ortega and refuses to file ANYTHING on the case (not even on the court ordered violations!!) - OR any sort of paperwork on any of the violations and instead "will be sending me a list of attorneys to work with going forward because she doesn't have time for the paperwork or time to talk to me." This is ALL quoted by Miss. Stacy Ortega; 5/1/2023. I have been working with her since February of 2020. I Will be reporting her for ethics violations and reporting her to The Wichita City Chamber Of Commerce- the BBB - and anyone else I need to.

Sarah Balderas, attorney at this law firm is so far the best lawyer I've ever been in touch with. Karina, attorney's assistant is an amazing hardworking lady, makes sure everything is just perfect. In case of emergencies these lawyers open their busy and already booked schedule to get you taken care of. Highly recommended.

0 stars since Reception hung up on me, I had to call back to ask her to at least try to do something rather than hanging up on me like that. Was very rude to do. 3 stars, The lawyer I talked to was polite and helpful but I forgot to write their name down.
