Allison Hibler hired as GAL to do an investigation/file a report. I did not want a GAL because the last one years ago never did her job. As a pro se litigant-I tried to get Allison removed-motion denied. On the day of court-Allison was running a few minutes late and I asked the court reporter if the minor child should be present with ex and ex's spouse. When Allison arrived-the court reporter informed Allison of my inquisition. Allison went over and talked to my ex-spouse. I had to interject and tell Allison as she was talking to my ex that I had emailed her and cc'd people with the court about the child being present as I did not think it was appropriate that the child was present at the last court hearing. Now-odd that I should have to be the one to point this out to everyone when I am the one who has been substantiated and affirmed and had other accusations thrown at me through the years for verbally abusing my child. At that point-the minor child was removed from court. Allison's report following her investigation? In regard to interviewing my ex-spouse-she quoted ex-spouse as having said this or having said that. Even stated after the interview with my ex spouse that I was diagnosed with so and such mental illness disorder when we were married. So basically she took everything that ex spouse said as fact even though it was literally hearsay. I explained to her how DCF went as far as to shut me up in 2019 with an affirmation. How did she write that in her report? She said that I "felt" DCF shut me up. She said that I "felt" co-parenting therapy did not work. No actually I did not say that I felt any of these things. I came out and stated them as facts. I stated them as facts in emails I sent her. I stated them as facts in the one phone call I had with her that is recorded. Because one can see from the history and the trajectory of this case that that is indeed what they are. I gave her numerous audios, videos, emails, screenshots of text messages-all things that point with clear-cut validation the ex's anger and it's negative effects on the minor child. I actually-examined the ex in 5 minutes and got more out of the ex in a 5-minute questioning of ex in regard to their anger than she addressed in her entire Guardian Ad Litem report. She even literally discussed in her guardian ad litem report a conversation that had occurred between my child and myself regarding which conversation I had specifically asked her to leave it out of her report so my child did not have to deal with repercussions from ex for reaching out to me the last year that my child is banned from my home(following my ex's DV charge for battering child while in the shower by hitting child in head)and again I showed Allison these emails where my child stated that my child could not have contact with me per my ex because my ex was tired of the back and forth through the years. So despite showing Allison emails where the minor child literally states that the child is not allowed in my home per my ex-Allison bought into the "delusions" this is all my child's choice. Yes-I would avoid this firm.

Allison Hibler served as my attorney during a high conflict divorce. She was honest with me throughout our time together and really kept me grounded while emotions ran high. She was always informed and as accessible as an attorney could be. No legal professional has an easy job. But Allison's confidence made me believe she enjoyed her role, truly advocating for my best interest and reminding me that my understanding was important. I would recommend Allison and wish her all the best for years to come.

If I could give Vernon 10 stars I would! We had a daughter who was the black sheep. We blamed her for everything, our bad parenting and emotional unavailability, due to our own parental trauma. We are Boomer parents and these younger generations want to solve "generational trauma and whatnot" and not just be grateful we gave them a place to sleep and things to eat.. Thank GOD for Vernon, our daughter will FOREVER know her father owned her and she will be reminded of the trauma bond until her death. We can't thank you enough Vernon! You were a BAADass with our black sheep.

We hired Mike Heptig for an appeal on an eviction case. He's a nice likable guy, which makes this review difficult to write. He won the case for us which was great, but at what cost. I felt he put the least amount of effort into the case one possibly could. Communication was terrible, he told me he'd have documents sent on X date, I'd call back the next week for an update and it still wouldn't be done. I felt like I had to push him to get any work done. And on top of that, I realized later he was billing me for that time I had to use to get him to do his job. Makes me sick to my stomach. Finally to get an invoice, I felt like I had to pull teeth. No one would explain to me they have an online portal to pay and they wouldn't give me an invoice number to pay which was required to pay. After the case was done, they (not Mike) sent me one final update email saying my case was complete and said if I had any remaining questions to ask Mike. Well I tried. 2 months later and still no reply to my emails and voice mails. I don't get it, you guys really don't want repeat customers? I guess you don't need to worry about it then. How do you go about winning the case for me, and yet I still feel like I lost.

I can personally attest and recommend Vernon L Jarboe's legal advice, if you are a father with anger and control issues and you want to demoralize and subjugate your "rebellious" daughter and make sure she never forgets you owned her. 5/5 stars for that! Vernon is your guy.
