I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Duma Law Office. The receptionist I beleive her name was Dee, who is the first point of contact for clients, was very rude and dismissive. Her short and discouraging attitude made the entire interaction disheartening and dispiriting. It's hard to understand how someone so unwelcoming is placed in such an important role. Because of this negative encounter, I never even made it past her to evaluate the attorney's craft or professionalism. If this is any indication of how the office operates, "If the receptionist at Duma Law Office is the first impression, I don't want to see the rest."

$3000.00. Don't waist the money because Duma is not worth the price. Get a hungry lawyer trying to make a name for themselves, for half the price, and will appreciate your business. You will most likely get the same, if not a better outcome while saving money. He will gas light you initially, then doesn't actually work or care once he has your money. I overheard him talking to a colleague about how "stupid and undesirable" their clients are at the courthouse. I asked him a few questions about things pertaining to my case that he promised we would go over together. He made the passive aggressive threat to take me in front of the judge, knowing I would sign. Hindsight, I should've read through the fine print before signing, or gone to the judge and plead my case directly. That's on me. Although, Duma knew what he had done, after telling me it'd be a small fine and a class. I'm now on a year of supervised probation, random drug and alcohol testing in a shady facility, and monthly visits with a probation officer. My charge didn't involve drugs, alcohol, or violence. I wondered why he left as quickly as possible after I signed, almost running away, literally. He knew I was about to find out what he'd done. I'm a college graduate, honorably discharged and decorated combat experienced former Airborne Paratrooper, and have a good job. People make mistakes, but that doesn't define who they are necessarily. The biggest criminals are big businesses and smug lawyers like Duma. Do yourself a favor and choose another lawyer.
