It pains me to adapt my previous review for Reid and Co. Attorneys-at-Law written June 27th 2022. A review, that according to my Google email notification, received 1000 views today - Wednesday, April 9th 2025. You may scroll down below to see the glowing remarks I made almost three years ago. Somewhat prematurely, I awarded Reid and Co. Attorneys-at-Law, 5 Stars and even recommended this Law Firm to friends, who were also in need of legal representation in Jamaica. Unfortunately, for my family and I, this experience has turned out to be a long and arduous journey from Probate work to the Sale of my parents home. By the end of our three year working relationship I found myself exhausted, duped and severely disheartened. I personally felt betrayed as Tyeesh A Reid felt the need to withhold our legal Deed of Property and took three weeks to forward an invoice to secure additional payment. Indeed, Tyeesh A. Reid vocalised on the phone that she needed to feed her family and that I was somehow preventing that from happening. In the simplest terms - I believe this firm gained my family's trust and then let us down. In good faith, we submitted the required documents and payments in a timely manner. We worked tirelessly to follow-up at each stage of this process: from the United States, England as well as face-to-face. In conclusion, I would recommend that if you need to take care of your parents estate remotely - DON'T. It is a long and drawn-out process. For us, it was unnecessarily painful. Secondly, if you need to choose an Attorney At Law, do so wisely. We needed to employ another Attorney in order to regain our Deed of Property from Tyeesh A.
