I had a very poor experience with this firm. My lawyer, Ms. Dunn, was extremely uncommunicative and unresponsive. Phone calls were unreturned, questions about my case went unanswered and messages and emails were ignored. Then, she ghosted me in the middle of a mediation. After 4 months of no contact I had to hire another lawyer at more expense to do the work I hired Ms. Dunn to do. All in all, a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Do no waste time or money with this firm.

I didn't even make it past making an appointment because the secretary had one of the worst attitudes I have ever experienced, she sighed in frustration when I asked a simple question as to how long my documents will take to get notarized considering they were only one page. She alone discouraged me from using their services.

I worked with Ms. Dowding in 2021 and 2022 on an international adoption matter related to my niece. It was a complex issue that involved the US Embassy regulations as well as both US and Jamaican family law. Ms. was fantastic to work with. She helped to guide me through a difficult situation and displayed professionalism and kindness all the way through. The fees charged were transparent, the communication was steady, and the results were exactly what we hoped for. I would highly recommend Ms. Dowding, and NSD & Co for all your family law-related issues. Ms. Guscot is very personable and takes the time to explain things carefully. As a layman, I appreciate that..as lwayers usually tend to be impatient. But Nunez has set the bar high!
