I had a motor vehicle accident on 3/28/2023 and reached out that same week to this firm. I spent an hour for intake and was scheduled a follow up phone consultation. I waited and waited until I finally called the office and asked if I misunderstood the time, but no Erik was in another call and would get right back to me. Another 20 minutes waiting I had the most disrespectful and disappointing conversation with a lawyer. After being late, it was like he couldn't get me off the phone fast enough. He didn't ask anything about why I was pursuing legal counsel (for significant pain after the accident) but only honed into the ticket I received. He told me to call back when a court date was set and ended the call. I did so in April and haven't heard a peep since, until I got an email today stating that he only takes injury claims and would be declining to represent me. For someone who didn't care enough to be on time for an appointment, didn't care enough to actually listen to my concerns in the five minutes we did speak, and to have no follow up contact for over three months, it's appalling that the firm would even send a denial. What's there to deny when you haven't done due diligence to even start the case? I am VERY glad to have found other counsel and am only writing a review because the email asked to share the firms info to family and friends- a laughable inclusion when this firm can't tell its left hand from its right. Update to business response: apparently reading reviews isn't their forte either. I was never told about a representation denial until today- which you sent in an email and text. There was no reason for the denial in either, and I would be happy to provide you with a copy of both since you aren't sure what you've provided me. As listed ABOVE, the reason for seeking counsel was not regarding the traffic ticket, but the pain from the motor vehicle accident- which is well within your "wheelhouse" according to your text/email for who you do represent. I have also stated the above that when I called the firm to confirm the court date, I made it very clear it was not about the ticket and wanted follow up regarding a case for the pain from the accident. Yet, nothing from anyone in the office. I'm very sure you just wanted a hasty and snarky response from a review that shows how your business operates, as you didn't read the line stating I have found other representation already.
