Sandra didn't put forth much effort at all with my case. I gathered up information and proof to show the other parent's living conditions were bad so it would be in the best interest of my daughter to live with me primarily. Once I explained my examples and sent over proof she basically just brushed it off then asked for the following stuff in order to continue down the custody battle process. About a month later discussed what are the options or what can be done to have her basically tell me I'm at the mercy of my daughter's mother and if we didn't come to an agreement the judge would decide the amount of time in the custody agreement I would get which would be the standard every other weekend. Then I asked what about the examples and stuff I sent over to have her ask me to resent it to her to look over again but still go no where or talked about again. Do not recommend at all.

In my almost 40 years I have never left a bad review before. We hired Sarah Dewein as our CFR. She came to meet us and spent less than 30 minutes speaking with us. Had to go to her daughter's softball game, said she'd be back to speak more and to collect the rest of our documents and evidence. She never returned, never responded to a single email or returned a single phone call. Several messages left with her assistant. The report she eventually turned in was less than my 2nd grader's book report and factually inaccurate in parts. Don't worry, she did have time to cash that $3500 check. 2 stars because she was nice to our kids, respectful of our home, and I have to believe she just dropped the ball here and not that she doesn't take her job seriously.

This man is a miracle, he is stand up and does whatever he needs to in order to make sure a child has her father. He is my divorce attorney and was amazing. I would highly recommend anyone to use him. As a single father wanting his daughter 50/50 he nailed it for my case. Thank you Jeff and Dave, you two were a gift from the heavens for me!! I'm forever grateful for you two!!

Sarah is currently trying to sue me for the totally unprofessional and unacceptable job she (didn't) do for me. She was assaigned a Court Family Reporter and did nothing for almost 4 months even after paying her $2500. Her response to my criticism was that she told my lawyer that it would "be months and months" before she could even get to my case. My lawyer, the judge, and even my wife's attorney said this was not true or we would never have agreed. She did maybe $500 of work but never came close to finishing. Her injunction in court to be held in 10 days is to sue me for threatening to post the true facts of this case. IMO, a slobby, lazy, hack of an attorney, with no one's attention at heart. A soulless , foul, money-grubbing hustler with no mind for facts. She has a laughable defense and I hope anyone who reads this will heed my advice. Do not allow this lawyer to become a part of your custody case, or she will take all the time she wants coming up with a recommendation. IMO, lazy, unprofessional, tired, and a huge slob at her job. Hopefully this honest review will still be up 10 days from not when she sues me for freedom of speech - After all, I guess that's what you do when you are so wrong and have no case but you are a lawyer.... An "injunction" to my 1st Amendment rights... Absurd. IMO Sarah Dewein should be disbarred as she was directly responsible for me not seeing my children for more than 6 months because she was "busy". I have filed an official complaint with the Iowa Supreme Court Disciplinary Board and I think that is what got her attention. Sue me??? Because you won't do your job?!? At least give me my money back (which she has not done at this point either). Shameful, Disgusting, and a Despicable slob of a person. Shame on you Sarah....
