This was my first time hiring an attorney and hopefully my last. George Jones and his team were by far the most unprofessional group I've ever dealt with.
I spoke with George in September 2024 about a clear case of surgical malpractice: my surgeon completely missed a fracture in the finger next to the thumb he operated on. At my follow-up, the surgeon admitted he missed it, and by the time he realized it wouldn't heal, he said nothing could be done.
George agreed to look into it, and then nothing happened. For 11 months, his office dragged their feet. On July 31, I got an email saying they were still waiting on records from my physical therapist. The very next day, I received a letter saying they were dropping my case entirely even though they discovered in their findings that the surgeon failed to meet standards of care.
I am now left with permanent pain in my hand and will likely have to pay out of pocket for a future surgery. Not to mention no time to find another attorney before the two-year statute of limitations runs out because it took them 11 months to review my medical records.
If you're looking for someone who will fight for you, look elsewhere. He doesn't do the work anyways; he contracts other attorneys to do the work for him.
