Purchased my first home and used Milissa Hoffman for closing. Long story short, I had an issue with the sellers not disclosing a leak coming from my ceiling. My ceiling has been leaking for a WEEK now and Milissa can't take ten minutes out of her day to respond to any of my emails or my numerous phone calls. I would never recommend anybody ever use books lawfirm. They don't care about their customers.

I worked with Milissa K. Hofmann to close a residential property purchase. She helped me draft up a buyers contract to all terms made by the buyer and seller. After the house was closed, seller did not obliged to the terms stated in the purchase agreement. I asked Milissa for help she put me in touch with her assistant Marisa Johnson. After multiple email exchanges between Milissa and Marisa, they ensure me to not worry and that they will take care of it. She said she will get her paralegal to draft up a small claims against the seller for a beach of contract. I was relieved to hear those comforting words to not worry. After weeks and weeks past, i have not heard back, my emails not returned. I have come to believe that words were just said with no intention to execute. I have closed many properties with Brooks law firm, but after this experience, I have made up my mind to stay away and go with another law firm. I am disappointed with this law firm.
