I hired Mr. Hansen for my OWI case and it was one of the most stressful experiences of my life. I took a full day off work, drove 4 hours, and lost pay just to show up to a court date his office never told me was canceled. When my license was suddenly revoked, I was told I was on my own because he only handled the 'criminal side.' I fired him after realizing his lack of communication left me completely unprotected. I filed my own DOT appeal out of desperation -- and within minutes of hiring a new attorney, my driving privileges were restored. I paid $665 for almost nothing. I genuinely hope anyone facing OWI/DUI charges looks elsewhere so they don't go through what I did. Follow-up: After posting my review, the attorney responded publicly with a very long and personal message that included unnecessary legal details. I will not argue publicly about my case, but I will say this: I hired an attorney for communication and guidance. Instead, I received almost no contact, was never told my court date was waived, and discovered my license was revoked without any warning from his office. I am glad a new attorney resolved the issue within minutes, but it was disappointing to see a professional respond in such an aggressive and defensive way rather than taking responsibility. I stand by my original review.

Unfortunately I had to file bankruptcy and Peter did a great job. Just had a small claims against me 4 years after discharge and it only took a letter from Peter to shut it down.
