Two years of being drug around in order to get a chapter 13 dismissed. Couldn't get calls back, we were bounced around person to person, the case was mishandled, forms were filled out incorrectly. We were told that a vehicle was put in to the paperwork and not to pay anything and I ended up having to pay over $700 in late fees to Honda due to M&M negligence. When I contacted them about this I was completely ignored. We asked about voluntary dismissal and were told that wouldn't be the best option, and then it got involuntarily dismissed anyway. 2 years of stays on creditor issues where we couldn't work anything out with creditors because they were instructed not to speak with us and only our lawyers, which is normal, but only ended up hurting us in the long run. Now having issues trying to talk to companies to try and get payments handled even after all of this "ended" several months ago. Logistical nightmare, will give you more stress and headache than you deserve and will not take any accountability for their actions or lack thereof. I highly recommend finding a different firm for your financial woes if you're looking for a good bankruptcy attorney that won't cost you even more in the long run.

Although the staff seemed very knowledgeable and mostly polite. I paid for advanced services in anticipation of future services, I thought the lawyer is usually required to keep the money in a client trust account which is my money so I thought. The lawyer has a right to withdraw the money after the fees are "earned" by the lawyer. The lawyer and I agreed on approx $500 in fees and the rest would be a refund of approx $1000 I requested a refund approx 30 days ago as of tomorrow and I called today and got nothing but the excuse give us more time were busy with trials. Understandable but you were paid for your work partial refund owed or not. I was a client as well. Remember every customer is equal not just the one that's paying you right this moment- Yolanda .C

I would not rate with 1 star, if given the choice. I hired this firm, paid my balance in full after the consultation. Communication from beginning was lacking. There would be weeks in-between responses and obviously they deal in time sensitive materials. The only time I received an immediate response was after 14 days of nothing, I copied the attorney on an email requesting someone communicate with me. I have provided all requested documentation within a 24 hour period of when it was requested. My final requirement was a copy of my 2018 tax returns, which I provided the day before it was officially requested by the Trustee; then received a formal letter from Trustee that was emailed by a paralegal who works for MM Law requested the returns. At that point, I had been waiting a week for correspondence regarding a correct attorney code for my final BK class. After I forwarded the email where I provided my returns a week prior, and AGAIN requested a correct attorney code; I waited 23 days and received no response; so I completed the course without the correct attorney code and forwarded the completion receipt. 5 days later, I received a warning from the trustee stating my bankruptcy could be dismissed entirely if I did not complete the class within 45 days of my original creditor meeting. (Which had been rescheduled 4 times). At this point, I have not received communication from this firm since February 12th, 2019- and have emailed them twice with pertinent information and questions. My attorney was GREAT! Dan went over everything in great detail and had no issues explaining things I questioned or was unsure about. Bankruptcy is not something people file in a proud manner. It was a learning experience for me and one I will do anything to not have to repeat in my lifetime. I am disheartened and upset that the firm I chose, which was far more expensive than the first attorney I consulted with; chose to deliver this type of service and care for their clients. Especially a client that paid every penny up front, with no payment arrangement. I will not be recommending this firm to anyone who confides that they may be looking to file Bankruptcy; or for any legal service they may need.

Absolutely the best. They actually listen and care about those they represent. I appreciate all that they did for me. Katie and Tatiana put in a lot of time helping me with questions as I'm going through this tough and scary time.
