I reached out to Attorney J Douglas Angel's office via the contact form on his website. I reached out on behalf of a loved one who needed help finding legal counsel for an upcoming hearing. In 2 days, I received a very discourteous phone call from a representative of his firm. She was rude in her conversation with me as I tried to relay material information to set up a consultation appointment. The most outrageous part was that Attorney J Douglas Angel's office refused to meet with my relative unless he came in-person to the office for a consultation - despite living more than two hours away. There was an outright refusal to converse telephonically with a client that lives in Marion County with a legal matter in Lake County. The entire ordeal was simply handled unprofessionally in the most unbelievable way.

In my opinion, Doug angel bill was very expensive for what seemed to me to be so little actually accomplished. I would NEVER recommend this attorney to anyone. Perhaps he is a capable attorney, but in my opinion I do not feel as though I was represented in a way in which I received sufficient value for what I paid.

I took off work to meet up with an attorney at the Munster location. I was under the assumption that I would be able to resolve my legal issue, I came prepared with all of my paperwork. The attorney I spoke with was not of any help at all. I sat there and listened to plenty of stories and examples etc. etc. and at the end of listening to all of this he tells me to contact the people that sent me these letters, then charges me $300 to tell me what I already knew, he could've at least cut out the stories and only charged me half. I missed out on a full day's work and a knock at my attendance record for this. DO NOT HIRE THEM! An absolute terrible disappoint.
