I'm deeply disappointed with how my experience with Attorney Jessica McPheeters was handled. I retained her through MetLife Legal Plans in November 2024 to represent me in a partition case involving family property in a trust. In the beginning, Jessica was responsive, supportive, and professional. However, communication declined significantly in the spring of 2025. After I reached out expressing concern, she explained that she had be out for personal reasons which I fully supported and was appreciative of the communication. Unfortunately, during a critical stage of my case this October (2025), Jessica became unreachable despite multiple attempts to contact her. I later learned that she had communicated with opposing counsel that same day, raising serious questions about whether my concerns were being properly represented and effectively communicated back to me. Ultimately, this led me to question her position as my attorney and her professionalism. After I expressed my frustration and shared correspondence to clarify misinformation, Jessica stopped communicating entirely. I never received a formal notice that she was withdrawing from my case -- only learning through an email to opposing counsel that she was "no longer representing me." This lack of professionalism and abrupt ending left me without representation at a critical moment and has caused significant frustration and loss of trust. While I understand my part in how things unfolded, I strongly believe clients deserve timely communication, transparency, and proper closure when representation ends. I'm sharing this review so others are aware and so that the firm and MetLife Legal Plans can use this as an opportunity to improve client care and communication.

I highly recommend this firm. I paid in August for expungements that were in the eligible time frame, and was Complete in November. I did not have to go to court either. Anyone needing representation this is the right place. They will give you the worst and best possible outcomes in the beginning. They will not take your money if there's no chance.

Complete waste of time with Victoria Bain. Very very bad communication waste of monies as well. I will advise going with a different firm. Took them almost a full month of us contacting them over and over, and then setting up phone appointment. Lost the case working with Victoria. And we were able to come to a resolution on our own with the company that we had an issue with. Again! GO WITH A DIFFERENT FIRM. They have a 4.5 stars for a reason, and I am pretty sure it will keep going down!

It's been 2 1/2 yrs still my sister passed away. Still trying to settle her estate. Jessica is a nice person but very slow. Takes about 3-4 phone call from me or my sister to get one call back. Then she says she needs more info - give it to her but never get updates as to what is going on. If you looking to get something done within a reasonable time - find another lawyer! This is not the place - it's going to years maybe a decade. Nice and friendly staff but it will take years to get anything done. We're still waiting for a return call but only called 2 times will probably take another 2 calls before anyone calls us back. I requested an appointment with Jessica but still waiting for a date!

I pay for a MetLife Legal plan through work and I was given this office from a list (then referred to Hires from another attorney but after reaching out, I was told she doesn't help with claims like mine). The attorney I was given didn't seem too hopeful for my case even though I thought I had more than enough information. We just didn't seem to have good communication. My legal plan covered a Demand Letter which she took care of. But after that we ended the services and I'm searching for a different lawyer who can help me.
