If I had to do it all over again I would definitely choose a different lawyer for my divorce. He is definitely one of those that talks a big game in the beginning to get your business, but doesn't do anything to try and fight for you and what you deserve once you sign the contract. The only reason I ended up getting more from the divorce is because I chose to fight for more and not listen to him about taking the proposal and being done, since he just wanted to be done super fast with everything and get paid. I recently sent him an email regarding the fact that I still haven't seen my kids since the divorce and what should I do since we had an agreement for 50/50 parenting time. I really thought he would have been more concerned they weren't following the agreement and be upset about it, but he didn't seem all that worried and said to just keep trying. I explained to him that I've been trying for months and it's not working. I recently got a bill for the email about this matter and to me it was kind of like, cmon man I just told you I haven't seen my kids in months and all you are worried about is money and not finding a solution to the problem. I understand this is how he makes money, but I have paid him a lot thru this whole divorce, so I was a little surprised he charged me for a quick email regarding me still not getting my parenting time after everything was over. I feel like it was just a quick email and phone call to me and maybe he could have been a little more sympathetic about the issue and not worry so much about making a quick buck every chance he gets.

I paid this attorney and can show anybody the correspondence between the two of us via email and this guy is senile. He just e emailed me and left me voicemails threatening me on behalf of my child's mother (drug addicted non custodial parent) and after telling him everything that could be used against me in court he is now representing her and using everything told to him in attorney client confidentiality, through threatening emails and calls. The lawyer has no ethics and will literally lie to clients, judges, attorneys, etc. in order to make money. As of July 25 he has withdrawn from the case. Regardless he has a terrible code of ethics to practice and live by. Slimiest snake of a lawyer you could ever come across. Find a lawyer that genuinely cares about well being of the child first and foremost. The mother of my child spent seven months in Mommy's Haven in Lowell and was active in our child's life for the first time in over 5 years and this lawyer took her money & caused her to spiral into addiction and relapse with false promises. She's currently living in a motel in Cedar Lake and the blame is partly his NEVER PAY THIS LAWYER! He's a con artist.

If I could rate no stars, I would. From the time I met Mr. Kazmierczak, he was clearly not interested in representing me. He is cold, callous and dismissive. His only concern was closing my case as soon as he could. He was recommended and I would NEVER recommend him to anyone else. People like him should not be representing other people if all he was looking for was an open and shut case.

Calderaro was like a toddler in there drawing timelines with crayons, only far less impressive. Wouldn't listen, couldn't tell him anything. Then, when he finally read the agreement I could see his beady eyes meet mine as I made him read every word. He still resorted to name calling and said he couldn't help me so I thanked him and left.

Extremely pleased with Ed and his office crew. They all were very professional, and worked in a very fair and timely manner on my case. And Ed communicates!!! Divorce is a stressful part of someone's life and Ed has a great balance of keeping that in mind while working with his clients. 100 % recommend
