If you are looking for a family/custody lawyer. Keep looking! After paying $2000+ for him to represent me in a paternity case, when I would call for advice or need help because I was (still am) being abused by my children's father he did not even pretend to care. Because I paid him to be my lawyer I am several thousand dollars poorer (as a young single mother). He never reported the abuse I suffered to the courts, leaving several years with no record. So If you are looking for a family Lawyer, Please do yourself a favor and do not hire Larry Helmer to represent you. YOU WILL REGRET IT

Mr Helmer seemed to do as little as possible to get his job done. It felt like his secretary did more than he did. He came to court unprepared for a temporary custody hearing, and advised me that having a protection order placed against me was "no big deal." I am currently trying to get my concealed carry permit, which I've had to appeal because of his "advice."

Worst Attorney ever. He will never represent you.He'll never return your calls. The front desks will act like your Attorney. He's always away for personal matters. What matters to him is money money money!!! I would never recommend anyone to that law office.

Worst 125 $ EVER spent. We were there for a half hour and he didn't want to explain anything to us more than once. In fact we we said we didn't understand something he said" I'm only gonna say this one more time". If I'm paying for him shouldn't he explain until I get it. All he wanted to talk about was how much money we would be paying and that was ALOT for an easy case. Please this place is a joke.

Helmer was great at resolving family estate matters we had. Definitely would recommend and use again if needed.
