Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience I had a very upsetting interaction with Kelly, a legal aid assistant at this office. When I reached out to better understand the office's legal processes and connections, I was met with responses that felt dismissive, disrespectful, and unnecessarily rude. Instead of offering clarity or support, Kelly's remarks came across as dehumanizing and combative, which is the last thing anyone deserves--especially when seeking help during stressful legal situations. Everyone deserves to be treated with basic dignity and patience, particularly in a legal aid setting. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I hope the office addresses this internally so others don't have to feel the way I did. I left a voice mail with the attorney Ryan, and I will send a formal complaint via email, and on top of that will follow up with Purdue University. I can't believe purdue university is working with a law office that will treat students like this! Unacceptable and from the looks of other reviews this is a common experience.

My husband paid them almost $9k, even though his debt was only $8k and they are still taking him to court over some random $400 they pulled out their behind. ??? The issue was over EIGHT years ago and had been paid in full. Money hungry & come after you for $ when you don't even owe them anymore. Just find any excuse to try to get a buck.

This office is TERRIBLE! They are very rude and do NOT CARE about anyone! They refuse to take payment arrangements and will only garnish your wages! Something needs done about this place!! Ive never dealt with such disrespectful rude people in my life!

Talked to 3 different people and the first, i'm guessing the receptionist was rude and ended up transferring me over to the next person without telling me she was transferring me over. Once i was transferred i guess i was transferred to the wrong person because she had to transfer me over to someone else. and the last person was just extremely rude! i had unclaimed funds that i wanted to know about and she just acted like I was already supposed to know what to do by what the letter told me. She kept saying "Well is that what the paper says?" in a condescending tone. Keep in mind the letter just states that i have unclaimed fund and to either show up at the address provided or CALL if I have any questions!After she got done explaining to me where the funds were from i wanted to just confirm on how I was able to collect the funds and she just kept saying " we'll is that what the paper says?"I was super nice on the phone so to be talked down too just for asking a simple question that took her a sec to explain to me is just very unprofessional and rude.Just from that one phone call alone I would not do business with this law office ever.Get new people answering your phones because the ones you have now obviously are unhappy and need to find new ones! I would give them no stars if i could.

I called this office to verify some information regarding a title search against my deceased mother's property that listed the attorney for the plaintiff as Sarah Blake. I talked to two people, a receptionist and strangely, someone from Collections (she didn't identify herself when she answered). I understand being businesslike and matter-of-fact, but you can do so without being rude. My call lasted less than two minutes, but in that time it was made clear to me that she was NOT interested in helping me and that she clearly had no empathy for my situation. When I asked how I could get a document to support what she was telling me over the phone to give to my buyer, she literally said, 'I don't know and I can't help you with that'. I can imagine that the lawyers for this office would be embarrassed if they knew how their staff were treating people that call in. Based upon how my simple request was handled (or in this case, NOT handled)I would never even think of engaging their services as a paying client.
