Mr Oberst did a great job with my divorce, made it simple answered all questions i had which was plenty, described in detail what I was to expect ,what I needed to do and what he was going to do. Brian is a great guy and a good attorney, if u read some of these reviews and your thinking twice about him, your going to miss out!! Hire Oberst law office and set your worries aside, i did and I will again if I would ever need an attorney

I've waited several months to write a review. I hired Mr Oberst for a divorce. It was not a good experience. I spent thousands of dollars for what should have been fairly easy. Granite my ex is a "piece of work" but Oberst kept meeting with the ex's attorney in the back halls are where ever. Nothing ever seemed to be right. I fired him and hired an attorney that wasn't just out to get paid but get me divorced! With in 90 days I was divorced. He had the nerve to say I owed him $750 more for nothing. He is a good enough person just not diligent in working. He also had issues keeping secretaries.

Brian was excellent. He met me the same day I called, He took his time to discuss my situation and then told me what to expect step by step. Other attorneys were advising me to take a deal just during consultation. Not Brian he explained all options, how long it could take, made sure I understood, THEN let me make a choice on how he should approach our case. I felt for the first time like I had someone on my side during this difficult time. He was professional and caring during entire process. I hope this was my first and last time needing an attorney, but if my friends or family ever do, I will 100% refer Brian Oberst everytime!

Total garbage is all I can say about Brian. Two court dates that he never showed up for, $5,000 in retainer that he never gave any billing information as to what I was being charged for, No legal advise at all. Never will answer phone calls, emails or text. Total incompetent with no staff to help, this so called law firm is a total train wreck. I now have to file a complaint with the Indiana bar and a small claims suit for breach of contract. His contract stating will provide monthly detailed statement, never received one ever in the five months. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. NEVER HIRE Oberst Law.
