Shyama handled my divorce, several years ago, and has just wrapped up my post-decree issue. She was not only fair, but efficient. Shyama provides great advice and was able to provide me with a favorable outcome. Shyama is a respected attorney who maintains a high level of integrity. Shyama's vast experience and knowledge in family law is evident during the first few minutes of meeting with her, she answers all questions with zero hesitation and full confidence. After explaining my ideal outcome for the divorce in regard to finances and property Shyama asked a few questions that hadn't been previously asked and with that information she was able to conduct a plan to get me my desired result all within our first meeting. Shyama took the time to explain how she would execute her plan detailing any possible issues and the plans in place for those shall they arise. Luckily, we had no issues except for a technical one which she quickly went into action to resolve and was prepared for. Shyama and her office obtained my desired result QUICKLY, I retained her services late September and was divorced by November 1st! Having originally filed in January this was an amazing relief. Shyama's support staff is knowledgeable, efficient and very caring in the work that they do. I hired this law firm to represent me in my divorce case. Since the beginning of working with this attorney, I noticed that Jean my attorney would not respond to my emails nor would she send me the documentation that I requested from her. Often times she would call me the same day we had court to "loop me in" instead of speaking to be prior to the court date. Many times she asked to make decisions about my case and give me 30 minutes to decide. I would bring many issue about my case to her attention and she would not take action. She would wait last minute to submit motions that would have helped my case if she would have done that from the beginning.She would say I didn't email her required documents for my case( when I did) and she would always forget information about my case. I have two children so it turn into a custody battle. My attorney would let the opposing party take the win while we took the loses. I guess Jean was fine with billing me for all this "work" even if that "work" didn't amount to anything.I would not recommend this firm to anyone
