Ignore the bad reviews. Mr. McKeown was both very professional and down to earth. The people that are criticizing his responsiveness are over exaggerating. Anybody that thinks an Attorney needs to drop all their cases or personal life to call you back when you demand it is unrealistic. Attorney's have other cases and clients so their world doesn't revolve around you! My case went as fast as it could possibly go. I am extremely happy with the outcome and their service. My experience with this law firm was extremely disappointing. The secretary was consistently unprofessional, often speaking in a rude and disrespectful manner during phone calls. Communication was difficult and lacked the courtesy you would expect from a legal office. The firm was also frequently late to hearings, which not only delayed my case but put me at risk of missing important court proceedings altogether. On several occasions, their tardiness resulted in rescheduled court dates, causing unnecessary stress and disruption. What I found particularly troubling was their behavior during Zoom court sessions. I witnessed members of the team laughing while the judge was addressing me--something that felt incredibly disrespectful and out of place in such a serious setting. The overall presentation and professionalism of the staff were far below expectations. Poor hygiene and lack of decorum contributed to an environment that felt careless and unprofessional. Most concerning of all, I never felt that they prioritized the best interests of my family. Their actions suggested that financial gain was more important than providing quality representation or genuine support. I would not recommend this firm to anyone looking for professional, ethical, and client-focused legal representation

Joe McKeown really helped me out in a very difficult time. He's incredibly knowledgeable and will make sure that you are completely understanding of what's going on and what's coming every step of the way in your case. Joe specifically helped me get residential custody of my son so he could stay in the same school district when my ex and I divorced. I was worried that my ex would try to pull my kid into a different school and just wanted to provide my child the stability I knew he needed and deserved in a time that was very difficult for us both. Joe helped me in so many different ways. He helped me understand my rights, used his extensive experience to help guide me through every step of the process, and ultimately helped me secure residential custody of my son so that I could continue to send him to the school he has always attended. Joe was very empathetic of my situation, understanding of how difficult it was for me, and was very fair with his hours/billing. I would hate for anyone to have to go through something as stressful and hectic as a divorce, but if you find yourself in that situation you will be in good hands with Joe representing you. He will absolutely give you his full attention and I really felt like he was in my corner when I really needed someone there. I was very pleased with the service that Joe provided, will use him again if I ever have a need, and whole-heartedly recommend him for anyone that might need a family or divorce lawyer.
